Agreement

By using Seatery, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You can use Seatery without creating an account — by using the site, you accept these terms.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Seatery. By creating an account or entering your email, you confirm that you are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; see our Privacy Policy for more.

What Seatery does

Seatery is a seating arrangement tool for weddings and events. You input guest information, and Seatery generates optimized seating arrangements. The service includes guest management, table setup, smart seating, and export features depending on your plan.

Plans and payments

  • Free: Set up your guest list, groups, and tables. Smart seating and exports require a paid plan.
  • Standard ($19, one-time): Smart seating, CSV export, and all core features.
  • Pro ($29, one-time): Everything in Standard plus visual layout, pinned guests, saved arrangements, and premium features.
  • Planner (monthly or annual): Everything in Pro plus unlimited events, client sharing, and branded exports.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card information.

Cancellation

  • Planner monthly: Cancel anytime. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds.
  • Planner annual: Full refund available within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, you can cancel to prevent renewal but the current year is committed.
  • Standard and Pro: One-time purchases. No recurring charges.

Your data

You own your guest data. Seatery does not claim ownership of any information you enter. We retain ownership of the seating algorithm, output format, and the service itself.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the service
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities

Guest photos

You own the photos you upload. By uploading, you give Seatery a narrow license to store and display each photo inside your own seating chart — nowhere else. We do not run facial recognition, biometric processing, or AI training on uploaded photos.

You confirm that you have permission to upload each photo of a person, and that uploading does not violate anyone's rights. If a photo shouldn't be on Seatery — copyright complaint, impersonation, non-consensual imagery, or anything similar — report it to dmca@seatery.net. We act in good faith on validated takedown requests, and we may suspend accounts with repeated validated complaints.

Photos are removed when you delete the guest, when you cancel your account, or when your event data expires.

Limitation of liability

Seatery is provided "as is." We do our best to generate great seating arrangements, but we cannot guarantee that every arrangement will be perfect for every situation. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to users with accounts. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
